Crochet Workshop
Crochet a super-simple hat! Come and create a contemporary hat you can show off. Pattern provided – fits all heads. Make one, then make another out of a different size yarn. FYI: variations of this pattern are used by people world wide to make “chemo” caps, yet it is stylish and versatile enough for anyone to wear.
Skill level/Prerequisites:
Medium beginner to intermediate. Must know these four stitches: chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet and half double crochet.
Materials:
One skein (250 yards) of washable sport weight yarn, preferably a yarn with some stiffness or body to it
Size F crochet hook
1 large tapestry needle
One stitch marker or a 6” piece of contrasting color yarn
A ruler or measuring tape
Pencil
Dates and Times:
Saturday, December 1 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Bring a lunch or order take out from a local restaurant.
